Frank Costanza

Frank Costanza (played by Jerry Stiller) is the loud and eccentric father of George Costanza. Frank is retired, and lives along with his wife in Queens at 1344 Queens Boulevard. He pioneered the invention of the bro (a.k.a. as the manssiere) alongside Kramer. The invention failed, however, when the pair pitched the idea to bra salesman Sid Farkus. Farkus asked if he could take Frank's wife (who he had separated with at the time) on a date, enraging Costanza and ending the deal. He and his wife were briefly separated but later got back together.

He was a cook in the army during the Korean War, however he was scarred for life when he accidently poisoned his troops, sending 16 of his own men to the latrines. He is fluent in Korean, which aides Elaine in learning what is being said about her in a Korean nail salon. During his separation with his wife, Frank goes there and is amazingly reunited with an old mistress he had in Korea. However, the pair split after Frank stops short with her.
