		Jerry Seinfeld Jerry Seinfeld (played by Jerry Seinfeld) lives at 129 W. 81st Street in Manhattan, apartment 5A. A successful stand-up comedian, Jerry has many girlfriends (seemingly a new one every week), but never seems to have a serious relationship. Seinfeld is thin, single, and neat; one reason why he mistakenly thought to be gay by a NYU reporter. Seinfeld's best friend George Costanza and he pitch a 'show about nothing' to NBC, and make a pilot only to have the network pass on the show. Five years later however, Seinfeld and Costanza are asked to make the show.
