		Morty Seinfeld Morty Seinfeld (played by Barney Martin) is the father of Jerry Seinfeld. Married to Helen Seinfeld, Morty is quick to come to Jerry's defense in any situation. Morty is the inventor of 'The Executive', a beltless trenchcoat that, years later, he and Kramer try to market to a vintage clothing store. Morty sold raincoats with Harry Flemming for 38 years. He and Helen are retired and live in multiple residences in Florida, such as Del Boca Vista. Morty was the president of the Condo Board at Del Boca Vista, but was impeached after he was thought to have stolen money from the treasury when Jerry gives him a Cadillac.
