J. Peterman


		J. Peterman J. Peterman (played by John O'Hurley) is the eccentric boss of Elaine and president of the J. Peterman clothing catalog. Formally known as Jacopo Peterman, he will often ramble off into off-color stories about his life experiences in foreign countries. He plans to bring Elaine with him on a trip to Africa, but she is unable to go when she tests positive for opium (due to poppy seed buns). Elaine is forced to take over operation of the company when Peterman leaves and goes to Myanmar, yet she gets in trouble for buying personal items with the catalog's money.
